act for sport revolutionizes amateur sports sponsorship:
The result of an alliance between advertising and sports equipment experts, our startup enables brands to make a concrete commitment to local associations, while maximizing their CSR impact and visibility.

How? By enabling brands to support hundreds of sports associations by offering them sports equipment worthy of the pros, while at the same time creating genuine communication campaigns.

Since 2018, we've enabled more than 200K sportsmen and women in 14K teams to be equipped like pros thanks to some 20 major brands and no fewer than 56 operations already carried out.

Job description

Under the direct supervision of the CEO, you will be responsible for selling our sponsorship solution, from prospecting to renewals for the French territory:

Sales lead & portfolio development

  • Set up, create and manage your sales pipeline with the CRM tool of your choice. It's up to you to suggest the tools you consider most effective, but we don't want you to get frustrated - we want to put you in the best possible position!
  • Identify and activate new opportunities with direct advertisers (marketing, communications, digital, CSR departments, etc.) and agencies (sports marketing, media agencies, creative agencies, etc.).
  • Organize, operate and monitor sales prospecting campaigns: you have a real appetite for optimizing a multi-channel lead acquisition strategy.
  • Actively participate in sales strategy: segmentation, prioritization of sectors, identification of opportunities.
  • Make yourself visible on the market by being physically present at as many events as possible (conferences, networking, etc.).

In short, you'll be selling the act for sport solution to our future customers.

Deployment & loyalty

  • Be the key sales contact for each new operation: onbording, follow-up, renewal.
  • Ensure our customers' renewals - current and future - under the best possible conditions.

  • On a team at your service: Our DGA and DA are on hand every day to help you respond to your prospects with the most stylish slides and mock-ups on the market (according to my cousin).
  • On our CEO to accompany you on appointments in all circumstances!
  • Our Prod Director and CTO to support you in all digital aspects of your business.
  • On a production team to carry out to the letter what you've sold! There's nothing more frustrating than an unsatisfied customer, which is why the high standards of act for sport production are an essential part of our organization. Production is your best asset for renewing contracts!
  • We're looking for our potential future Sales Director, driven by a triple strategic mission:
    - Grow our customer portfolio with ambition and creativity,
    - Automate repetitive tasks to optimize sales processes,
    - Facilitate the onboarding of our future sales people thanks to a clear and scalable organization.
Profile required

Core competencies

  • If you already have experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll have a head start over other candidates.
  • 5 to 7 years' B2B sales experience in sports, digital, media or marketing, you're a real hunter who has made live advertising your preferred terrain
  • Your experience in sales (advertising network, agency, organizations, etc.) gives you a qualified, activatable professional network.
  • Mastery of CRM tools (such as Pipedrive), automated emailing sequences, LinkedIn Sales Navigator... posting content regularly on LinkedIn doesn't scare you.
  • You know how to generate leads, create opportunities, close, follow up... and do it again!
  • With strong interpersonal skills and a results-oriented culture, you have a "Do-er" profile.
  • Operational English

Soft skills

  • You are curious, motivated, autonomous and have a real taste for a challenge.
  • You are proactive in activating your network and always on the lookout
  • You take part in professional events: networking, conferences, trade fairs, round tables... and you do it with pleasure, not to please us!

Location

Paris

The head office and most of the team are in Marseille, but this position is based in Paris: we are planning to open an office there. Our CEO regularly travels to Paris to be by your side, train you and accompany you on the most important meetings.

Regular travel in Marseille (about 1 per month)

Compensation

Fixed + variable package depending on profile

Fixed salary +/-45K

Variable +/-20K

Unlimited commission if 100% of objectives achieved = +/-3% of reported margin
