Whether you're a beginner or an experienced cyclist, Groupama supports all cycling enthusiasts. Many of them proudly wear their jersey, a symbol of belonging to their club. As part of the "Ton Club, Ton Maillot" (Your Club, Your Jersey) operation, Groupama is offering these precious tunics to help amateur clubs who are committed to developing cycling throughout France. This action at the heart of clubs is made possible thanks to our territorial coverage, a strength of Groupama's DNA, and to the expertise of act for sport, a true pioneer in the support and development of amateur sport.

Groupama and the love of cycling.

In 2018, Groupama became passionate about cycling. In cycling, the brand rediscovers its mutualist values: close relationships, territorial roots, but also modernity and innovation. This is how it joined the Française des Jeux cycling team to co-create the Groupama-FDJ team.
With its numerous victories, the team is the most successful squad in the French peloton every year, making Groupama a major player in professional cycling.
This commitment doesn't just apply to the professional scene. Through its "Par passion du vélo" program, the brand is making a broader commitment to all cyclists, to promote cycling for the benefit of all, in all regions.
It's this love of cycling and the desire to help as many people as possible benefit from it that drives Groupama to extend its support from professional cycling with the Groupama-FDJ Cycling Team to amateur cycling.

Once upon a time... "A passion for cycling

It's 7pm, the sun is starting to dip and a light breeze gently sweeps away the heat of the day. After several lung-bursting kilometers, criss-crossing the slopes of this endless mountain, a small group in identical jerseys soon reaches the summit of the pass. They're tired, yet with their eyes riveted on the ridge, they take it in turns to lead the team to the summit. They've given their all. For themselves, but also for the team!
Cycling is a team sport. Each rider surpasses himself for the love of his discipline, but above all for his team-mates. Because victories are more beautiful when achieved collectively, and deserve to be supported, Groupama is launching its "Ton Club, Ton Maillot" program to support amateur cycling clubs in the same way as the pros.

"Ton Club, Ton Maillot"

Aware that amateur cycling clubs train tomorrow's champions and bring this passion for cycling to life on a daily basis, Groupama has launched an unprecedented support operation to benefit these clubs. Since 2020, with the "Ton Club, Ton Maillot" (Your Club, Your Jersey) operation, Groupama has made a very concrete commitment to these sports associations by offering them outfits to enable their members to ride like pros!

A jersey in the club's colors

The jersey embodies the club's identity, its DNA, which it propagates on the roads and during races. It's a unifying element worn with pride by both the youngest riders, who are learning to ride safely, and the most experienced, who are aiming for a place in the next race.
Groupama is well aware of this, and has therefore allowed the clubs it supports to choose the colors of their outfits. The outfits can be customized, and numerous spaces on them are reserved for the logos of each club's local partners. In addition, each outfit has been carefully fitted with reflective stripes to ensure safety on the road.

Behind every pro is an amateur

It's a team that's been criss-crossing the roads for many years. The Groupama-FDJ cycling team has some emblematic figures in its ranks. Behind every professional rider is an amateur. They all have one thing in common: a love of cycling, and fond memories of their first turns on the wheel and their first jersey, that of their childhood club.
So it's without hesitation that they talk about this period in their lives, sharing anecdotes and emotional memories that echo their sponsor's "Your Club, Your Shirt" initiative.

Smiles and jerseys

After 5 seasons of the "Ton Club, Ton Maillot" operation, Groupama has already supported over 600 clubs and equipped 15,000 amateur licensees. They all have wonderful stories to tell, as well as an unwavering passion for cycling. Groupama went to meet them and shares their stories with us. First in a video mini-series, then in articles rich in images and anecdotes.

Pros and amateurs, all runners!

Groupama's commitment to cycling is comprehensive, ranging from solo amateurs to professional riders and amateur cycling clubs.
During the Tour de France, where Groupama x FDJ riders showcase the brand's commitment to professional cycling, Groupama makes a point of highlighting its other cycling initiatives.
In an attractive TV spot, the brand demonstrates its commitment to amateur cycling clubs - the "Ton Club, Ton Maillot" operation - as well as to everyday cyclists.

A meeting of enthusiasts

Building and maintaining close relationships is an integral part of the DNA of Groupama and its elected representatives and employees. So it's only natural that every season, all the amateur clubs partnering the operation receive an invitation to an official presentation of the outfits at the nearest Groupama branch. It's an opportunity to meet up close and personal, and to forge links that will help keep the passion for cycling alive in the regions.
