act for sport unveils the first jersey that can save a life

‍Aworld first in amateur sports: more than 25,000 children now wear a discreet QR code on their jerseys , turning every game into a potential channel for calling for help—a project organized in partnership with Havas Play and the nonprofit L'Enfant Bleu.

In France,
1 in 10 children is a victim of violence
However, 70% of them never talk about it.
Becausethey don't know who to turn to.
Because they are afraid to break the silence.
Since reaching these children can be a matter of life and death, the Enfant Bleu association is launching a unique initiative: "The jersey that can save a life. "

The concept is simple yet revolutionary: transforming the most universal symbol of sports— 's jersey—into a secret means of protection.

A discreet QR code has been added below each jersey number. By scanning it, the child is immediately taken to the L'Enfant Bleu website, where they can report an emergency, ask for help, or speak with a professional.

Thanks to the support of act for sport and eleven major partner brands (Allianz, AXA, Bigard, BigMat, Generali, HelloFresh, Homair, Leetchi, Optical Center, Sika, Spoticar), more than 27,000 jerseys have already been distributed to over 1,100 soccer, basketball, rugby, and handball clubs throughout France.

On average, these jerseys last three years, providing protection to thousands of children every week.

"Children's safety is not limited to a single place: at home, at school, in their extracurricular activities, we must create spaces where they can be heard and protected. With this unique program, we can make every amateur club a place where prevention takes shape, where innovation enables concrete action to be taken for the safety and well-being of every young person," explains Laura Morin, Executive Director of the association L'Enfant Bleu - Enfance Maltraitée (The Blue Child - Child Abuse).

"For us, creativity only makes sense if it is rooted in culture. Here, we chose amateur sports because it is one of the few areas where young people feel like themselves. Transforming the jersey into a symbol of protection is a direct and fair way to reach them," continues Fabrice Plazolles, CEO and Creative Director of Havas Play.
Brands committed to amateur sports participating in the initiative "The jersey that can save a life".
"By accompanying thousands of children on the playing fields every weekend, we realized that our jerseys were powerful and underutilized tools. That's how the idea for this initiative came about, which we proposed to Havas Play for L'Enfant Bleu. A simple banner under the numbers now serves to combat abuse. If this helps even one child to speak out and be saved, then all our efforts will have been worthwhile," concludes Guillaume Sarfati, CEO and co-founder of act for sport.
