Land Rover, a partner to all forms of rugby, is bringing its #LandOfRugby commitment to life with 74 amateur rugby teams across the country, within 30km of a dealership.
Land Rover and the French National Rugby League have been working together for over a decade.
Official car of the TOP 14 until 2023, Land Rover is also the leading supporter of the oval ball on the amateur field.
As rugby is above all a story of passion and transmission, Land Rover has been committed to supporting young amateur rugby players alongside professional rugby from a very early stage. The #LandOfRugby program is designed to support the rugby spirit, both in terms of shared values and to bring this commitment closer to its dealer partners.
For the 2nd season, Land Rover is offering amateur rugby clubs a sponsorship experience worthy of the pros.
The program includes Gilbert equipment for the U12 category, and a series of challenges leading the team most involved in social media to the Stade de France to bring the Brennus Shield with just 1 day to go before the TOP 14 final, before attending the match the following day.
Between September 23 and October 24, over a thousand applications were received on the operation's platform, confirming clubs' interest in the scheme.
Our brand accompanies the rugby territory because we have an image and values that are quite similar. We wanted to get closer to the field, to the players themselves, and to work with young people. In 2019, we decided to attach a youth team to a Land Rover dealership. In other words, to sponsor one youth team per dealership, in the field.
Michael Pierre - Director of Partnerships & Events, Land Rover France
In relation to the dealers, 74 clubs were selected with proximity as the main selection criterion. In fact, each of the clubs is less than 30km from a Land Rover dealership.
An operation carried out in collaboration with Eventeam Ideas.
